Otto Simon worked with Calysta (Owner and Technology Provider) and The Centre for Process Innovation (Plant Operator, based in Teesside, UK) to design and construct a plant to produce FeedKind™ protein; a new fish feed ingredient which will reduce the use of fishmeal in the aquaculture industry.
Otto Simon acted as Principal Designer and Principal Contractor, carrying out detailed design, procuring equipment and subcontracts and managing construction on behalf of Calysta. The project involved a fast-tracked 8-month design and build programme, and the plant was officially opened in September 2016.
