Low Level Temperature Insulation
Otto Simon Thermal Industries’ operators are highly experienced in installing refractory capable of resisting thousands of degrees centigrade—but did you know we’re also capable of low-level temperature insulation?
We understand that not every system in your process is subject to these extreme temperatures, and our team recently supported a client by installing a Class 1 expanding foam spray into a drying chamber that performs at circa 100°C.
This product has exceptionally high thermal insulative properties and provides significant efficiency gains in the energy required to complete the drying process. This application system has a multitude of additional potential benefits including the replacement of shotcrete for waterproofing of basement, rendering of casement piling or fire protection for occupied buildings.
If you have a thermal process at any temperature and are seeking improvements or efficiencies, please contact our Thermal Industries unit to discuss the full range of services on offer.
