  • Detailed Design

    Otto Simon provides Detailed Design services to complete the engineering necessary for construction and installation. We are fully covnersant with the CDM 2015 Regulations and have delivered projects as Principal Designer and Principal Contractor. 


    Otto Simon's strong process design capability is matched by an experienced group of mechanical, piping, E&I, control system and plant layout engineers and designers.


    Overall coordination of the design process, design reviews and the capture of key design deliverables is achieved through the latest 2D and 3D applications.


    Otto Simon has executed the majority of their Engineering Projects in the role of Principal Designer and is fully conversant with the HAZOP process, SIL, DSEAR, PED, CDM and associated standards and regulatory requirements.

    Based upon proven systems and procedures and utilising a comprehensive supply chain database, Otto Simon provides Procurement Services across the full project delivery life cycle including Material Procurement of equipment and spares.

  • Project Management

    Employing the best practicable management tools, systems and procedures Otto Simon provides a complete project and construction management capability. Whether in support of EPC projects or acting in a management capacity on behalf of a client, Otto Simon takes full responsibility for all aspects of the delivery process, including design discipline coordination and integration, sub-contracts, HSE, programme, cost control, CDM (including working as Principal Designer and Principal Contractor) and commercial.


    Recent management roles for a series of key clients has required Otto Simon to provide project and construction management personnel on projects in the UK, China, Japan, Taiwan, Zimbabwe, Korea, Brazil and Canada.

  • Start-Up & Commissioning

    The start-up and commissioning services provided by Otto Simon are a natural extension to our management, engineering and design capability. Invariably the engineers involved in the detailed design and understanding of the project transfer their know-how and continuity in setting the plant to work. Our personnel are experts in their field, recognised by our clients as possessing specific experience and knowledge invaluable to the smooth start-up and continued operation of their plant.
