Hazards 33

Otto Simon • Nov 10, 2023

Otto Simon’s Process Safety Consultants, Clare Dunkerley and James Williams, attended the IChemE Hazards 33 Process Safety Conference, held in Birmingham between the 7th and 9th November 2023.

One of the world’s leading process safety conferences, Hazards has been running since 1960 and provides and platform for sharing good practice, current thinking and lessons learned in process safety, as well as valuable networking opportunities.

This year saw a number of presentations focussing on hydrogen, including feedback from DESNZ funded projects to investigate different industries readiness to transfer to hydrogen fuelled burners/furnaces, and talks about the changes involved in the new ATEX/DSEAR guidelines.

It was a great opportunity to catch-up with leading experts from across different process industries and we are already looking forward to attending next year.

Find out more about the Hazards conference on the IChemE website.
