Otto Simon is privileged to have an exclusive relationship with Uhde GmbH for the application of coke plant technology in the UK. This arrangement extends to certain regions outside of the UK by agreement with Uhde.

Uhde GmbH is one of the world's premier specialists in the design and construction of modern state of the art industrial coke plants featuring world leading technology. Their wealth of experience and expertise covers all aspects of an industrial coke plant including:

• Coke oven batteries with a chamber height up to 8.4 metres
• Gas treatment plants for cleaning the crude coke oven gas
• Heat recovery coke plants in which the gas produced is used to generate power

Otto Simon has a long and distinguished track record in the coke and steel sector dating back to 1872. Through our highly experienced core engineering group, association with Uhde and full access to design data for the vast majority of existing UK coke plants we are able to provide services covering all aspects of a coke plant including coke ovens, by-products and specialised machinery.
