Otto Simon to Re-Construct Coke Production Complex in Zimbabwe

Otto Simon has been awarded a turnkey contract for the complete hot rebuild of a coke oven complex in Zimbabwe. The project marks a major investment by the Hwange Coal & Coke Company in the rehabilitation and upgrade of existing facilities. The work will entail the design, supply of materials and overall site management of the rebuild. Otto Simon will deploy a team of specialist site management personnel to train and supervise a local workforce in the reconstruction work required.

Based upon the design/technology provided by Otto Simon the work will be undertaken in the extremely arduous and logistically challenging environment of a hot rebuild. The production of coke will be maintained whilst adjacent areas of plant are reconstructed.
